What is end-of-line packaging?
End-of-line packaging covers the final stages of a production line, once the product has been filled, sealed or wrapped. It typically includes product conveying, orientation, collation, case packing, case sealing, palletizing and pallet handling. The objective is to prepare finished products for storage, transportation and distribution while improving efficiency, consistency and product protection.

What is the difference between case packing and palletizing?
Case packing consists of placing individual products or primary packages into a secondary container, such as an RSC case, tray or display-ready case. Palletizing takes place later in the process and consists of arranging the finished cases or cartons onto a pallet according to a defined pattern. Case packing prepares products for transport, while palletizing prepares the completed cases for storage and shipment.
